Alfie Phillips: Footage shows police arresting mother and her partner
A mother and her former partner have been found guilty of murdering her 18-month-old son.
Sian Hedges, 27, and Jack Benham, 35, were both convicted of the murder of Alfie Phillips following a nine-week trial at Maidstone Crown Court, and will be sentenced on 19 December.
Alfie died on 28 November 2020 with more than 70 visible wounds, including human bite marks, the court had heard.
Police bodycam footage, shown to the jury during the trial, shows the moment Hedges and Benham were arrested.
