Disability access: Ramsgate man fights to improve town
Joe Shaw suffered brain damage and lost part of his skull when he was randomly attacked on a night out.
Now using a wheelchair, he said he has been left "angry and frustrated" at how difficult it is for him to get around his home town of Ramsgate, in Kent.
He has launched a petition calling on Kent County Council to make changes to roads and pavements, to create better access for disabled people in the town.
