Firefighters in Cleethorpes tackle overnight blaze at former church
Firefighters have tackled a major blaze at a former church in Cleethorpes.
Crews were called to the Beaconthorpe Methodist Church building in Grimsby Road at about 22:00 BST on Thursday.
Six appliances attended, with firefighters remaining on scene until just before 03:00 BST, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said.
No one was believed to be inside at the time, it added. An investigation will take place to determine the cause.
