A lorry driver has been taken to hospital following a collision on the A63 which saw the road closed for more than seven hours.

Humberside Police said the lorry had gone through the central reservation and collided with two cars before it tipped over and shed its load.

The crash happened at about 10:20 BST on Tuesday on the stretch of the road between North Cave and North Ferriby.

Two other people were treated at the scene for minor injuries, police said.
