John Cartmell, 59, died after his car hit a barrier on the A1034 near South Cave on Wednesday.

A 59-year-old man died at the scene of the crash in South Cave on Wednesday, Humberside Police say.

Overnight closures will be reintroduced on the A63 between South Cave and North Ferriby in January.

There have been closures and speed restrictions during work on the A63 and M62 in East Yorkshire.

Emergency services were called to the scene, near South Cave, on Tuesday morning.
