Liphook: 'Beloved son' died in railway bridge crash, family says
The family of a man who died when his car hit a railway bridge have said his loss has left a "massive hole" in their hearts.
Phillip Bower's silver Mercedes crashed into a bridge on Portsmouth Road in Liphook, Hampshire, on 8 January.
Police were called at 11:25 GMT and the 45-year-old from Lindford died at the scene.
His family said he "was their world" and added: "His beautiful smile and witty charm was intoxicating."
In a tribute, they added: "He had the ability to light up anyone in his presence.
"He has left a massive hole in our hearts and will be deeply missed."
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary is appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
