Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em screening for Children in Need

Digitally remastered HD scenes from the classic 1970s sitcom Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em have been shown for BBC Children in Need.

The special cinema screening was a tribute to the show's writer Raymond Allen who died in 2022.

As a part-time cinema cleaner in his 30s, living with his parents on the Isle of Wight, he wrote the iconic series starring Michael Crawford, which was first broadcast in 1973.

Fans of the series watched episodes of the series at the screening at Harbour Lights Picturehouse in Southampton.
