‘I took on London’s most unforgiving swim challenge’
As part of Children in Need, teams across BBC Local Radio are being asked to complete a challenge that will collectively see them swim 1,000 miles.
Among those doing their bit for charity is BBC weather presenter Kate Kinsella, who took on the annual Serpentine swim in Hyde Park.
Thousands took part in the open-water swimming event - the youngest was 10 and the oldest was 86.
Kate, who is an experienced swimmer, says she found the challenge more difficult than she thought it would be - but left the water feeling like she could take it on again.
