Police have issued an appeal to track down a gunman who attempted to rob a shop in Gloucestershire.
The man entered a shop on Lyefield Road West in Charlton Kings around 0730 GMT on Tuesday and demanded money from staff before fleeing empty-handed.
Gloucestershire Police said they searched the area but were unable to locate the man.
The man was described as 5 ft 8 inches high (1.7m) and slim. He was wearing a grey tracksuit and a black jacket.
The police said a member of staff in the shop was unhurt but "shaken" by the attempted robbery.
