'A lot' more mines found on beaches after stormy weather

Coastguards said "a lot" more mines than usual have been discovered along the same stretch of coastline since December.

About 10 unexploded devices have been found on South Devon beaches including Slapton Sands, and detonated by the Royal Navy.

Dartmouth Coastguard said the increase is a result of recent stormy weather.
