Woman, 80, seriously injured in car crash near Probus

An 80-year-old woman has been taken to Treliske Hospital with serious injuries following a car crash on Wednesday.

Emergency services attended the crash involving a red Volkswagen Polo and a red Land Rover Range Rover at the A3078 Tregony junction at about 14:50 GMT.

Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing team attended, and the road was reopened at about 18:05 GMT.

Any witnesses or those with dashcam footage have been asked to assist the force in its investigation.
