Teenager seriously injured in car crash
GoogleA 19-year-old woman has been arrested following a car crash in which another teenager was seriously injured.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the single-vehicle incident involving a grey Citroen C1 happened on Polkirt Hill in Mevagissey at about 04:30 BST on 5 July.
The force said an 18-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries while two other passengers in the car sustained minor injuries.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by driving without due care and driving a motor vehicle on a road whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol, police added. She has been released under investigation.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dash-cam footage of the incident has been asked to contact investigating officers.
