Lone sheep near A1 in Cambridgeshire herded into police car

A sheep stranded on a busy road was rescued by officers who herded it into a police car.
Cambridgeshire Constabulary said it received multiple calls from concerned drivers who spotted the lone animal near the A1 carriageway at Buckden.
In a post shared on Facebook the force explained the animal was taken to a nearby farm on Monday so it could be scanned and returned to its owner.
The force said: "It's not every day we're called to herd sheep!"
