A motorcyclist has died following a collision with an HGV on the A1(M) in South Yorkshire.
Emergency services were called to reports of a crash between junction 35 for Doncaster and junction 34 for Blyth at about 05:45 BST.
The 55-year-old rider of a red Kawasaki motorbike was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary but later died from his injuries, a spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said.
The road was initially closed in both directions, but the northbound carriageway has since reopened, according to National Highways. Drivers have been told to expect delays, with diversions in place.
Police have appealed for any witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage, to get in touch.
