Gordano School investigating after crush at gates
Footage of a crowd of pupils getting crushed in a "surge" at their school gates has been shared on social media.
Gordano School in Portishead, near Bristol, said a gate was not open in time at the end of the school day on Monday, causing a "surge of students" leading to some injuries.
The school says it is investigating what happened and will update the community.
Headteacher Louise Blundell said student safety was of "utmost importance".
