M25 crash near London Colney injured nine people, police say
Nine people were injured in a crash on the M25, police have said.
Officers said they were called at about 05:05 GMT on Saturday to reports that a black Ford C-Max and a Ford Transit minibus had collided between junctions 22 and 21 on the anti-clockwise carriageway near London Colney.
Three of the victims sustained serious injuries - two of them life-changing - Hertfordshire Police added.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area at the time.
National Highways said about three miles (5km) of congestion had built up and the road was likely to remain closed for several hours.
PC Peter Liva, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, appealed for anyone with information about the collision to contact the force.
