'World's oldest pancake race' takes place in Olney
Competitors have taken to the streets in what organisers claim is the world's oldest pancake race.
Taking place in Olney in Buckinghamshire, the race can trace its roots back to 1445.
It is only open to female participants and they must have lived in the town for at least three months.
After the race, a service is held in St Peter and St Paul Church to mark Shrove Tuesday.
