Professor Van-Tam: 'One dose of vaccine reducing hospitalisation by 80%'

Professor Jonathan Van-Tam, deputy chief medical officer says both the Oxford-AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines are 60% effective against illness after the first dose.

This data applies to people over 70 in England.
