High Bentham

Celebrations are taking place marking the 175th anniversary of the line between Leeds and Morecambe.

The order is lifted after being put in place for parts of North Yorkshire earlier this week.

Higher than usual amounts of a type of bacteria have been found in some North Yorkshire tap water.

Yorkshire Water issues "boil orders" for High Bentham, Low Bentham and Burton in Lonsdale.

The incident happened in High Bentham on Wednesday morning, North Yorkshire Police say.

The victim was pushed down a steep flight of stairs at the Hoggs 'n' Heifers pub in North Yorkshire.

Managers say it is sometimes "not possible" to cover incidents in areas like Bentham and Settle.

Police say men used someone else's details to 'pay' for 20 sheep before driving off with them.
