The appeal follows the stabbings of two teenagers on different beaches at the weekend, resulting in one death.

The 16-year-old is expected to appear before Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday following the incident on Portobello beach.

The man was swept 3km (1.8 miles) into the Firth of Forth from the beach at Portobello.
