The UK's highest court has rejected the Treasury's attempts to intervene in the landmark case.

Lloyds Bank branches in Leominster, Kidderminster and Bromsgrove are set to close this year.

The technical fault meant Emily McAllister was unable to complete her house purchase.

The bank says a technical issue, which began on Friday and impacted the its app, online banking and payments, has been resolved.

Link says it is looking for a location to open a banking hub that would provide a counter service.

The closures across its brands will be completed by March next year, as more customers go digital.

Gorleston - the fifth largest town in the county - has no major bank now Lloyds has left.

The bank plans to close several branches in Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire later this year.
