Poet Lemn Sissay: Live in the present

Poet and playwright Lemn Sissay has told BBC Hardtalk's Stephen Sackur about the importance of forgiveness and living in the present as a way of "living the best life that you can live".

Sissay was rejected by his foster family, lived in the care system and he is now an artist of national renown.

He said despite critical acclaim and success he still felt "like an outsider" but that gave him "a reason to communicate and build a bridge to people".
