A woman has denied causing the deaths of two pedestrians by driving dangerously through a village.
Bethanie Clark, 31, of Lowca, Cumbria, and David Muir, 43, of Parton, Cumbria, died in the incident on the A596 at Flimby, near Maryport, in May, 2022.
Jade Devine pleaded not guilty during an appearance at Carlisle Crown Court.
The 32-year-old of Andersons Court, Flimby, was bailed and a trial date was set for next April.
She denied both dangerous driving charges, and also two alternative charges of causing death by driving the vehicle carelessly and while at almost twice the legal drink-drive limit.
During an 11-minute, hearing she spoke only to confirm her name and enter pleas of not guilty to all four charges.
She will return to court for a review hearing on 13 September.
