County to host tulip garden with 500,000 flowers
A flower festival organiser is to open an attraction featuring an expected 500,000 tulips to Warwickshire this spring.
Tulleys Tulip Garden will feature more than 100 varieties of tulips during the event at Hatton Country World, near Warwick, from 28 March.
The garden will change throughout spring as different varieties of the flower bloom, until it closes on 5 May, said organisers.
A wooden windmill and a large clog will lead a number of Dutch-themed attractions at the festival.
Stuart Beare, owner of Tulleys Farm, said: "We're so excited to bring Tulleys Tulips to Warwickshire.
"It's not just about the tulips – it's a celebration of nature and beauty that everyone can enjoy."
The firm also runs Tulleys Tulip Fest and has fields of flowers in the West Sussex countryside.
