Dangerous driving arrest after car crashes into home

A man had been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a car ploughed into a house.
The crash, involving two cars, happened on Hamble Lane, the B3397 in Bursledon shortly before 00:45 BST.
The road, the main route from the M27 at junction 8 into Hound and Hamble, has been closed both ways between Portsmouth Road and Pound Road.
Police said the 22-year-old man from Locks Heath remained in police custody. No injuries were reported.
