Arrested driver and women in hospital after crash

A driver has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a crash that saw her and two passengers taken to hospital.

The crash, involving a Mercedes, happened on Millbrook Road West, Southampton, shortly after 06:00 BST.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said the two women travelling in the car and the driver, a 21-year-old from Sway, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A stretch of the road closed from Paynes Road to Regents Park Road in both directions has since reopened.
