Police say the road remains open despite the collision

A driver has escaped a crash without serious injury after their car overturned in a residential area.

West Yorkshire Police were called to Harrogate Road in Chapel Allerton, Leeds at 7:52 GMT after reports of a traffic collision involving one car.

The driver of the car was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

The road remains open despite the collision.
