Police appeal for witnesses over fatal crash
PA MediaSussex Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died in a crash near Petworth.
The collision, which police believe involved four vehicles, took place near Fox Hill on the A272 Horsham Road at about 07:50 BST on 29 April.
A 74-year-old man from Reigate, Surrey, driving a white Porsche, was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
A 65-year-old man from Midhurst, driving a white BMW, was seriously injured and taken to St Richard's Hospital in Chichester, where police say he is stable.
The other two cars involved were a black BMW and a white Audi. Neither driver was injured, police said.
Anyone with information, dashcam footage or CCTV is asked to contact police.
