Roadworks to bring disruption for five weeks

Drivers are being warned of disruption ahead of five weeks of roadworks, which are being carried out as part of a £14.3m improvement project.
The A5086 in Cockermouth, Cumbria, will be repaired with the drainage system replaced and traffic signs upgraded.
The work, starting on Monday, will take place in three phases, with closures and temporary traffic lights in place.
Cumberland Council said some bus stops will be temporarily moved but bin collections will go ahead as normal, adding it was working to "reduce disruption as much as possible".
The first phase will take place between Gallowbarrow and Sullart Street, the second at Crown Street and the third at The Level.
It is part of a multimillion-pound project using government levelling up funding, which has already seen work carried out to sections of the A5086 between Rowrah and Crossgates and the A595 at Whicham Valley.
