Woman, 71, dies after flat fire in Elgin

A woman who was taken to hospital after a fire in Moray earlier this month has died.
Emergency services were called to Alba Place in Elgin shortly before 23:20 on Monday 17 March.
The 71-year-old woman was taken to the town's Dr Gray's Hospital for treatment. Police Scotland confirmed she later died.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious, police added.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said four appliances were sent to the scene of the fire in a ground-floor flat of a two-storey building.
