Recovery of explosive device 'worrying,' says DUP MLA

Police have recovered and safely removed an improvised explosive device from a house in south Armagh.
The device, and other items, were seized from the property on the Tassagh Road, Keady by police, assisted by the Army, for further forensic examination.
Officers carried out the search to assist an ongoing investigation by the gardaí (Irish police).
On Sunday, gardaí arrested a man in his 40s in County Monaghan.
Police investigation continues
They said it followed the discovery of improvised explosive devices in the north-east and south-west of the Republic of Ireland.
The man was detained under the Offences Against the State Act and is in Garda custody.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has said they are investigating a potential link between the Tassagh Road search and a security alert in Ballyards Road in Milford in Armagh on 1 July.
The police have said that anyone with information should get in touch with them.
William Irwin, a DUP assembly member for Armagh and Newry, said the removal of the device in Keady was a "welcome development" but its discovery was "worrying" for the local area.
"We thought we had put that behind us," he added.
Irwin praised the PSNI and gardaí for finding the devices and urged the public to provide any information they have to the authorities to ensure "those responsible are brought to justice".
