People invited to join parliament's carol service
People have been invited to join the island's national politicians for a traditional carol service led by the Tynwald Choir.
The annual event takes place at the Cathedral Church of St Mary of the Isle in the island's capital, starting at 13:10 GMT.
President of Tynwald Laurence Skelly MLC said that he "would like to extend a very warm invitation to all members of the public and the local business community".
Organisers said the event would be "a choral celebration of the festive season with a selection of well-known and less familiar pieces of music".
It will feature the Tynwald Choir, the Isle of Man Arts Council Community Choir and a brass group.
The order of service has been arranged by Clerk of Tynwald Jonathan King.
Mr Skelly said the annual service had "become a long-standing tradition" where members of the public could "join Tynwald members and staff along with government staff in a joyous occasion celebrating Christmas".
It was also a "wonderful opportunity to hear a Christmas address from the new Bishop of Sodor and Man", the Right Reverend Patricia Hillas, he added.
