A man has been convicted of exposure and sex attacks on passengers on a bus.

Essex Police officers boarded a vehicle on Coggeshall Road, Braintree, shortly before 17:30 GMT on 27 December after receiving reports of a man exposing himself and sexually assaulting passengers.

Graeme Hicks, 32, of Old Chapel Drive in Stanway, has admitted sexual assault, indecent exposure, three counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker, and possession of cannabis.

He is due to be sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court on 27 January.

Det Insp Andy Drake said: "As this investigation progressed quickly, it became increasingly possible that Hicks's offending is not restricted to this incident."

He urged anyone who might have witnessed or been a victim of Hicks prior to this incident to come forward.
