A man is in a critical but stable condition after a collision in Worthing

A man is in a critical but stable condition after being hit by a van in Worthing, police said.

The 75-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following the accident involving a Mercedes Vito van.

Officers were called to A27 Warren Road where the collision occurred at around 16:15 GMT on Friday.

Sussex Police are appealing for information or dashcam footage of the accident to help with their investigation.
