Man, 80, hit by motorbike while crossing road

An 80-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was hit by a motorbike while crossing a road, police said.

Officers were called to Leger Way in Doncaster, near the junction with School Lane, shortly before 16:30 GMT on Monday.

The man is believed to have been hit by an orange KTM 125 Duke 12 motorbike, which was travelling with a red Aprilia Tuono 125 bike.

The KTM rider was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
