Man in his 70s dies after car crashes into wall

The driver of a car which crashed into a wall has died.

Police were called to reports that a blue Skoda Karoq hit a wall in Hurstlea Road, near the junction with Ludbrook Close, in Needham Market, Suffolk, just after 14:25 GMT on Monday.

Paramedics were also called but the driver, a man in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Suffolk Police believed he suffered a medical episode prior to the crash. The road was reopened several hours later, at 17:15.
