Man and woman who died in crash named by police
Police have named a man and woman who died in a crash on the A47 in Leicestershire.
Emergency services were called to the A47 Normandy Way in Hinckley on18 October after a crash involving a red Ford Fiesta and a light grey Audi S4.
Molly Snow, 23, was driving the Ford Fiesta and Jordan Hurst, 31, was a passenger in the Audi S4, and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
A 25-year-old man - the driver of a black Audi S3 car, which was not involved in the collision - was previously arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has since been released under investigation, Leicestershire Police said.
Police believe the grey Audi S4 was in convoy with the black Audi S3 in the minutes leading up to the crash.
The driver of the light grey Audi, a 25-year-old man, was previously taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
He remains in hospital receiving treatment, police added.
Det Sgt Ed Des-Chanelle, from the force's serious collision investigation unit, said: "My condolences very much remain with Miss Snow and Mr Hurst's families and loved ones at this time."
