A woman in her 30s has died after a head-on crash on a rural road in Buckinghamshire.

Thames Valley Police said a black Ford Focus and a silver Vauxhall Corsa collided on the B488 Leighton Road, between Slapton and Leighton Buzzard, at 13:50 GMT on 8 January.

The driver of the Vauxhall was taken to hospital with serious injuries and died six days later. While the driver and passenger of the Ford have since been discharged.

Police said they wanted witnesses, or those with relevant dashcam footage, to contact them.
