Teenager dies after coming off motorbike in crash

An 18-year-old motorcyclist has died after a crash, police have said.

Lancashire Police said the man crashed just before 16:00 GMT on Sunday on Navigation Way, Preston.

The force added that "he had come off his motorbike" and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers have appealed for witnesses as well as any dashcam or CCTV footage of the crash.

Sgt Anthony Beckett said: "First and foremost, my thoughts are with the man's family, friends and loved ones at this sad and distressing time.

"They are being supported by specially trained officers."
