Vintage tractor convoy to cross the Channel
A convoy of 60 vintage tractors and commercial vehicles is due to travel through Sussex and across the Channel on Thursday.
The convoy will leave Chailey in East Sussex and cross from Newhaven to Dieppe, and then drive to the French town of Gourney-en-Bray in Normandy.
There they will take part in a show celebrating traditional farming.
The convoy has been organised by the Chailey Classic and Vintage Tractor Club.
All the vehicles will be using their own power while on the roads, with the oldest driver taking part aged 83 and the youngest 17.
As well as tractors, other commercial vehicles will be taking part including a petrol-driven 1919 Thornycroft J-type lorry.
