Rail disruption expected due to engineering works

Rail services in Surrey are expected to be disrupted on Saturday and Sunday due to engineering works.
Network Rail maintenance works between Battersea and Clapham Junction will see services to and from London disrupted, according to South Western Railway (SWR).
Services in Woking and Guildford will be among those affected, with rail replacement buses in place on certain routes across the weekend.
Peter Williams, SWR's customer and commercial director, apologised for the disruption, but said customers could "expect a more reliable railway" following works.
On Saturday, trains between London Waterloo and Weybridge will instead start from Barnes, while stopping services from Waterloo to Woking will have altered stopping patterns.
Services between Waterloo and Guildford will also depart earlier than usual.
On Sunday, services between Waterloo and Guildford will begin and end at Surbiton, while services to Woking will start at Kew Bridge.
Mark Goodall, Network Rail route director, said: "We know that closing the lines in and out of London Waterloo station will be disruptive to passengers, and we're sorry to anyone who will be impacted by this work.
"We urge passengers to plan ahead and check before they travel, and thank them for their patience while we carry out this vital work."
The disruption will be on the first of successive weekends where maintenance works are planned as rail replacement buses will also run between Staines and Windsor on 22 and 23 March.
