Pink Floyd star to hold garden fundraiser at his home
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance CharityTickets are on sale for a charity open house event at the Wiltshire home of Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason.
Thousands are expected to visit the rock star's home, Middlewick House in Corsham, Wiltshire, on the weekend of 7 and 8 June.
The Grade II-listed Georgian house is home to Mason and his wife Annette, or Nettie, who acquired it from previous owners Andrew and Camilla Parker Bowles - later Queen Camilla - in 1995.
The annual open garden event is in aid of the Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity and the Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust.
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance CharityThe event began in 2013 and is thought to be the biggest fundraiser in the county, drawing in excess of 11,000 people to the garden.
Last year's event raised a record amount of £123,000, which was split betweenthe two charities.
Visitors can browse Mason's collection of classic cars, estimated to be worth millions of pounds, and menagerie of animals, while wandering around the gardens.
The family-friendly weekend will include market stalls with items such as jewellery, plants, candles and art for sale.
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity deputy chief executive Barbara Gray said: “The Middlewick House event is always hugely popular with our supporters and it continues to break records in terms of visitor numbers and funds raised for two vital Wiltshire charities.
"We can’t thank Nick and Annette enough for agreeing to hold the event again in 2025.”
