Dog and owners rescued from water near stadium

Firefighters have rescued a dog and its two owners from a waterway near Leicester City's King Power Stadium.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said the curious canine, named Tank, had got himself in trouble on Tuesday by jumping into the lock behind the football ground in Watkin Road.
His owners rushed into the water to save him and found themselves trapped too.
The service said after being alerted to their predicament, a Southern Station crew used a boat and specialist equipment to retrieve the stricken trio.
With the relieved dog and owners back on dry land, the fire service shared photos of the rescue operation on social media and reminded people to keep a safe distance from the edge of open water - and call 999 if a loved one gets into trouble rather than attempting your own rescue.
