Former GAA player pleads not guilty to drug charges
Former GAA player Peter Loughran, who was part of the Tyrone squad that won the county's first ever All-Ireland football title in 2003, has pleaded not guilty to a series of drug and criminal property charges.
Mr Loughran, 49, of Tamnamore Road in Dungannon, appeared alongside Nolan James Scarlett, 45, of Terrenew Road in Dungannon, before Londonderry Crown Court on Friday.
They face dozens of charges between them.
Both men deny conspiring to supply and supplying class A drugs, namely cocaine and class B drugs, namely cannabis.
They also pleaded not guilty to charges of offering to supply cocaine and converting criminal property and transferring criminal property, namely cash.
The case was adjourned until 13 December.
Mr Scarlett was released on continuing bail while Mr Loughran was remanded back into custody.
