Woman charged with murder after man dies in Newry

The incident happened in Fisher Park in Newry

A 50-year-old woman has been charged with murder after the death of a man in Newry in County Down.

The 40-year-old man died on Saturday after being seriously injured in Fisher Park in the city.

The woman is expected to appear before Newry Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
