Man charged over 'hazardous' substances found at property
A man has been charged in connection with the discovery of "potentially hazardous substances" at a property in Glasgow.
The 42-year-old was arrested after officers responded to reports of concern for a person on Old Shettleston Road at about 14:20 on Monday.
Two properties were briefly evacuated on Tuesday evening as part of the investigation.
The man will appear in court at a later date.
It is not clear what the substances were.
Police said there was no risk to the wider public but a presence would remain in the area.
A spokeswoman said inquiries into the incident were ongoing.
