Car crashing into flats sparks police search

People had to leave their homes after a car hit a property and caused a gas leak.
Greater Manchester Police said it was continuing to search for the car's occupants, who fled the scene.
Residents were evacuated from four homes following the crash, which caused a gas leak at about 15:35 GMT on Liverpool Road, Eccles, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said.
Crews worked at the scene for about two hours before residents were able to return home.
