A man has pleaded guilty to kidnapping following an incident in Cleethorpes.

Ryan Nicholls, 40, appeared at Grimsby Crown Court on Friday where he admitted the charge relating to an incident near a pub on Wardall Street on 27 October.

Judge Woolfall heard Nicholls was a former marine who spent time in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Nicholls, of Cheltenham Way, Cleethorpes, was released on bail and is due to be sentenced on 14 February at the same court.
