The departure hall at Jersey Airport is to be redeveloped, according to Ports of Jersey.

A spokesperson for Ports of Jersey said the work was scheduled to start in June and disruption to passengers would be kept to a minimum throughout the redevelopment.

Airport operations director Ashley Maggs said the refurbished terminal would create a "welcoming environment" for passengers.

He added: "Our aim it to create a more enjoyable environment where passengers can relax and wait for their flights."
