A 17-year-old boy and a man, 32, are in a serious condition in hospital after they were stabbed on a bus.

West Midlands Police said officers were called to Colebrook Road in the Sparkhill area of Birmingham at about 14:45 GMT on Wednesday.

Warwick Road was closed at its junction with Colebrook Road while the force carried out investigations.

Inquiries were at a very early stage and witnesses were urged to come forward, a spokesperson said.
